Construction Coordinator

Frank's next promotion was to construction coordinator. The nearest nonindustry equivalent for the coordinator is the job of general contractor. The construction coordinator works right under the art director and is responsible for going through the blueprints, deciding how much wood or paint is going to be needed, and ordering it. The coordinator also has the task of assembling the crews for each particular set and overseeing their work to ensure that it is completed on time. In other words, the coordinator is more of a set manager, a liaison between the crews and the design team.
